Itinerary
Welcome to Kota Kinabalu ~! You will meet and greet upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Then proceed to visit Rumah Terbalik (Upside Down House Sabah). The house itself is hard to miss, having been flipped upside down, with its floor facing skyward. Everything inside the house, from furniture to household appliances, hover above your head, as the ceiling is actually the floor. This architectural wonder has also been included in the Malaysia Book of Records for being the first of its kind in the nation. Thereafter visit to Tamparuli Suspension Bridge, which is built high above the Kiulu River was meant for pedestrians to cross over to the other side. Proceed journey to Kundasang and stop by for Shopping at Pekan Nabalu and Kundasang Market. Overnight at preferred hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and then we proceed to visit Desa Cattle Farm, playfully known as the ‘Little New Zealand’ of Sabah, where there are plenty of activities such as feeding the calves with bottled milk, feeding goats, observing how milk is processed as well as the educational tour for all. If you have ever wondered how milk is collected and then commercialized, Desa Cattle Farm is the place to be. Thereafter, we proceed to Poring Hot Spring, a natural wonder where hot sulphur spring bubbles out of the earth, take a dip in the open air Japanese styled bathtub which the hot sulphuric water is believed to have curative powers. A must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway (43m) span for 175m from tree to tree, a rare opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. Visit nearby Kipungit Waterfall before we leaving to Kinabalu Park. Popular for its cool climate and enchant visitors with its flora and fauna. Then we return to Kota Kinabalu. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at preferred hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Then we proceed for just 15 minutes away by boat from Kota Kinabalu town to explore and enjoy the beach for the day ~ Sapi Island & Manukan Island. Here you will be at leisure for the rest of the day either relaxing and tanning on tropical white sandy beaches or swimming and snorkelling in the crystal-clear water of the South China Sea. You may enjoy the others Water Sports by own expenses such as Water-ski, Jet Ski, Wind Surf, Para-Sail etc. Afternoon, Lunch awaits you. Transfer to Sapi Island and return to mainland at evening. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at preferred hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. 0830hrs proceed to Monsopiad Cultural Village and learn about the history of 'Monsopiad The Kadazan Warrior' and the kadazandusun culture. Attraction includes Visit the house of skulls (real skulls over 300 years old), Visit the monolith stone and learn about the history of the magic stone, Try out the kadazandusun traditional games the tampanau, Learn how to start fire using bamboo stick and husk, Visit the Mini Museum and Learn about the culture and custom of the Kadazan people, Visit the tangkob (paddy storage hut) and learn how rice was stored and how rice is separated from the husk in the olden days, Learn how traditional rice wine is made and wine testing (lihing, montoku and sikat) and try out the exotic KadazanDusun delicacies 'sago grub' (seasonal) Transfer to local restaurant for lunch. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at preferred hotel.
Breakfast at hotel and Check out. Today we proceed for City Tour of Nature Resort City of Kota Kinabalu, the State Capital of Sabah – “The Land Below the Wind”. Formerly known as Jesselton, and now better known as KK, Kota Kinabalu is fast becoming a major city with excellent infrastructure and amenities. Highlights of this city tour include Signal Hill, Masjid Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, State Government Building and Double Six Monument, Heritage Walk - Photo Stops to Atkinson Tower, Jalan Gaya, ‘0’ Kilometre, Sabah Tourism 100 Years Building, Australia Place and KK War Memorial. Shopping at Philippines Market, Jamilah Jewelleries and Cocoa Boutique (a shop where you will find many types of chocolate flavour). Your memorable tour concludes today with a departure transfer to airport for your home flight.
