Itinerary

4:30am

Begin your adventure early in the morning with a leisurely 2-hour overland journey to Mesilau, Kundasang.

6:30am

Upon arrival at the registration office, meet your local guide for a briefing on safety guidelines, do’s and don’ts, and what to expect during the hike.

6:45am

Transfer by four-wheel drive to the trailhead, where your trek begins. The hike to the summit takes about 2 hours along a narrow forest trail, starting with a gentle uphill path before progressing to steeper slopes with some rope-assisted sections. Along the way, enjoy the cool mountain air, unique flora, and a scenic midway viewpoint. At the summit (2,232m), take in breathtaking views of Mount Kinabalu or the surrounding landscapes, depending on the weather, before resting and enjoying light refreshments.

Begin your descent along the same trail after capturing memorable photos.

12:00pm

Enjoy a warm meal at a local restaurant before returning to Kota Kinabalu.
