Overview of Tour

About 1 hour 15 minutes’drive to the southwestern part from the Kota Kinabalu will bring you to the LokKawi Wildlife Park, a small wildlife rehabilitation centre. The 280 acres ofland hosted nearly 100 species of plants, birds and wild animals. The park hasa few interesting sections, namely the aviary, botanical garden, and majorityof the parks contains mammals’ sections. There is also a children’s zoo andamphitheatre inside the park.

Guests able to witness rare animals likeendangered pygmy elephants, gibbons, clouded leopard, civet cats, tarsiers andOrang utans. Outside the entrance, there are a few souvenir shops that offer arange of local-products.

Itinerary

8:30am

Pickup from your hotel and proceed to Sabah Lok Kawi Wildlife Park.

9:25am

Upon arrival at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, register at the counter and listen for a short breifing.

9:30am

Proceed to have a walk around and see the animals around. Animal show will also be held at 11.15 a.m. except on Fridays, so don’t miss it out.

12:30pm

Ready to leave the park.

12:35pm

Depart, transfer back to Hotel.
