Itinerary

8:00am

Pick up from your Sandakan hotel and transfer to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve.

8:30am

Upon arrival, your guide will provide a brief introduction and safety instructions before entering the Centre. Watch a short documentary about the rehabilitation process of orphaned orangutans to gain insight into their care and conservation.

9:15am

Explore the Centre and encounter Bornean orangutans up close as they play and move freely in their natural habitat.

10:00am

Walk along the boardwalk through the lowland rainforest to observe orangutans feeding at the designated feeding platform, an excellent photo opportunity.

11:00am

Transfer to a local restaurant in Sandakan for a delicious lunch.

12:30pm

After lunch, begin the transfer back to your hotel
